Introduction

This page details the various pieces of equipment that can be found in Strongman competitions and much of which is available for use at Strength-Tec.

Farmers Walk - These implements are designed to be carried one in each hand usually over a fixed distance.

Yoke - This barbaric looking device is designed to be carried over a fixed distance.

Tyre Flip - These huge tyres are designed to be flipped for either a fixed distance or for a set number of flips which are timed.

Portsmouth Strongman Association (PSMA) was conceived back in 2005 and since that time has gone from strength-to-strength, growing both in number of members and the range of specialist event equipment used in training and competitions.

Our range of equipment includes Farmers-Walk, Yoke, Stones, Viking-Press, Conan's Circle, 3 different sizes of tyre ranging from 330Kg up to a whopping 560Kg, and much more.
