Date: Saturday, 21st June.
Location: Whitminster playing fields, Gloucester, GL2 7PJ. Starts
at 11am.
Novices Events: TBC - 250Kg Frame Carry;
Axle Clean and Press for max. weight (Last Man standing); 220Kg Arm-over-Arm
pull for 25m and Drag the weight back for 25m; Loading race with Barrels
and Stones - 5 items ranging in weight from 90Kg to 120Kg; 260Kg Conan's
Wheel for max. distance.
BSW Events: TBC - 70Kg Farmers Walk or 140Kg Frame Carry; Axle Clean and Press for max. weight (Last Woman standing); 140Kg Arm-over-Arm pull for 25m and Drag the weight back for 25m; Loading race with Barrels and Stones - 5 items ranging in weight from 50Kg to 90Kg; 180Kg Yoke.

Notes: All events will be done on grass. All events are subject to change (weather and conditions can change but we will endeavour to keep them similar and announce as much as we can ahead of time).
Entry fee is £14 in March, £16 in April, £18 in May, £20 in June or £25 on the day. A t-shirt is included in the entry fee.
Britain's Most Powerful Man - Qualifier

Team Strongman 2008 sponsored by Tribute Ale
Date: Sunday, 3rd August.
Location: Ilfracombe Harbour, Devon.
Events: Provisionally, two-man frame carry; two-man deadlift; medley consisting
of yoke, carry and sled drag; other events TBD.
Notes: This is a team event, each team consists of two men. Those who wish to enter but, are not part of a team will be found a partner on the day. The competition is run alongside the Ilfracome Birdman event, so huge crowds are guaranteed and this makes for a fantastic weekend of entertainment.
